Colt Hawley participated in VEX Robotics for a total of 5 years during his time at Cavelero Mid-High School and Lake Stevens High School. 3 of those years Colt competed with a team of other students in regional competitions.

During his tenure in the club, Colt and his teams reached the World Championship in Louisville, Kentucky twice among many other awards.
